Scratby is situated off the B1159 coast road only 4 miles north of Great Yarmouth and 3 miles from the Norfolk Broads.
Scratby is a more relaxing place to stay at compared to Hemsby. The Beach Road Chalet Park does not have a clubhouse but it does have a heated swimming pool that is free and limited to guests staying on the the park.
There are amusements, clubhouses, shops and many places to enjoy eating out at. The sandy beach is 500 metres from the park and is accessed by a walkway from the cliff top car park .
 You can walk along the beach to Hemsby just over a mile away of explore your way through to California or Caister
